Step-by-Step Guide to Creating and Publishing a Promo Code

  1. Log In to Your Account
  2. Navigate to the Promo Codes Tab
    • In the Admin Panel, select Promo Codes. This section displays all your active, inactive, and deleted promo codes, with filtering options to organize them easily.
  3. Create a New Promo Code

  4. Define the Promo Code Name
    • Enter a Name for Internal Use: Input a name that will help you recognize the purpose of the promo code (e.g., “Spring Sale” or “New Client Discount”). This name will not be visible to clients, serving only as an internal label for organization.
  5. Set the Client-Facing Code
    • Enter the Discount Code: In the Code field, enter the code clients will use at checkout to receive their discount. This is the visible code they will apply when booking (e.g., “SPRING20”).
  6. Specify the Discount Percentage
    • Enter Discount Amount: Define the percentage discount the code will apply, allowing you to set the exact reduction for eligible bookings.
  7. Choose the Eligible Client
    • Select Client Email: If this promo code is intended for a specific client, select their email from the list. This feature helps you target certain clients with exclusive discounts, supporting personalized promotions.
  8. Limit Promo Code by Setup
    • Select Eligible Setup(s): Choose which setups the promo code will apply to. This ensures that discounts are only available on specific configurations or services, helping you manage the code’s applicability.
  9. Set Usage Limits
    • Define Validity Period: Set a date range by selecting a start and finish date, controlling when the promo code can be used.
    • Total Usage Limit: Choose the maximum number of times the promo code can be used across all clients.
    • User Limit: Set a cap on how many individual clients can use the code, allowing you to create exclusive or limited-time offers.
  10. Save and Publish the Promo Code
  • Click Save and Publish: Once all details are complete, click Save and publish to activate the promo code, making it available for clients to use.
  1. Manage Existing Promo Codes
  • View, Edit, or Delete Codes: In the promo codes list, click the three dots next to any code to view its usage details, make edits, or delete it. This management tool helps you track the effectiveness of each code and adjust or remove it as needed.

Tips for Optimizing Promo Codes

  • Run Seasonal Promotions: Use promo codes for seasonal events (e.g., “Spring Sale”) to drive bookings during slower periods or encourage specific services.
  • Limit Usage for Exclusivity: Setting user or total limits can create urgency and exclusivity, making clients more likely to book quickly.
  • Track Usage Data: Regularly review promo code usage to understand which promotions resonate most with clients, guiding future campaigns.

Importance of Effective Promo Code Management

Promo codes not only incentivize bookings but also provide insights into client behavior and preferences. By carefully managing promo codes, you can ensure that each campaign aligns with your studio’s goals and maximizes client engagement.
