Guide on creating primary services, adding descriptions, setting prices, and creating categories.

Overview

The Base Services tab in your Podyx Admin Panel allows you to create, customize, and manage the main services your studio offers, such as recording sessions or editing services. Clear and well-organized base services provide clients with a better understanding of what your studio offers, enhancing the booking experience and helping drive bookings. This guide will walk you through each step to add and optimize base services in your Podyx Admin Panel.

Why Setting Up Base Services is Important

Base services represent the core offerings of your studio and allow clients to book sessions based on their specific needs. Clearly defined base services help clients find what they need more easily, which can improve conversion rates and increase booking value.

Benefits for Your Studio:

  • Streamlined Client Experience: Organized and clearly presented services make it easy for clients to select the option that best meets their needs.
  • Increased Revenue Potential: Strategically prioritizing and highlighting popular services encourages clients to book higher-value sessions.
  • Improved Service Visibility: By embedding your service offerings directly on your website, you can make booking easy and accessible for potential clients.

Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Base Services

  1. Log In to Your Account
  2. Navigate to the Base Services Tab
    • In the Admin Panel, find Base Services by toggling the down-pointing arrow and selecting Base Services. This section allows you to add, edit, and organize the primary services available at your studio.
  3. Add a New Base Service
    • Click “Add new” to start creating a new core service. This opens fields to input information about your service, making it clear and appealing for clients.
  4. Define Service Details
    • Name the Service: Enter a descriptive name for the service, such as “Video Recording” or “Audio Editing.”
    • Add a Short Description: Write two to three sentences summarizing what the service entails. This helps clients understand the service at a glance.
    • Use Highlighted Text: Add text to the Highlighted service field if you want this service to stand out in the booking interface. Options like “Top Sale” or “Best Value” can draw client attention to popular services.
  5. Provide a Full Description
    • Detailed Description: In the description field, list what the service includes, such as equipment or technician support, and what it doesn’t. Bullet points can improve readability and help clients quickly grasp the full scope of the service.
    • Highlight Key Points: Using a bullet point (•) will display as a checkmark (✅) in the client interface, and using a number will display as a cross (❌), providing clear visuals for included and excluded items.
  6. Set Pricing
    • Enter Price per Hour: Define the hourly rate for this service.
    • Add a Discounted Price: If you’re running a promotion, use the Discounted price field to temporarily adjust the service’s rate for clients.
  7. Save and Publish the Service
    • Click Save and Publish: Once complete, save your base service, which will immediately make it available to clients in the booking interface.
  8. Reorder Base Services
    • Edit Row Order: To control the order of services as they appear to clients, click Edit row order. Use the drag-and-drop feature to move services up or down and prioritize high-demand services.
    • Save Order: Click Close row order to finalize the new display sequence.
  9. Embed Service Cards on Your Website
    • Embed Code: For studios that prefer listing services directly on their website, click Embed service cards to generate an iframe code. Copy this code and paste it into your website for a seamless booking experience.
  10. Manage Existing Services
  • Edit or Delete Services: Click the three dots next to any service to view details or delete it. This feature allows you to keep service listings current and make updates as needed.

Tips for Optimizing Base Services

  • Highlight Popular Services: Use highlighted tags to draw attention to top-selling or high-value services, which can encourage more bookings.
  • Organize for Easy Navigation: Prioritize services you want to promote by adjusting the order in which they appear, making it easy for clients to find what they need.
  • Embed on Your Website: Using embedded service cards on your site allows clients to view and book services directly, enhancing visibility and accessibility.

Importance of Well-Defined Base Services

Clear and organized base services not only improve the client booking experience but also help your studio present a professional and attractive service menu. By setting up base services thoughtfully, you make it easier for clients to find and book the sessions they need.
